Clark Street Home Policies and Procedures
We ship within 5 to 8 business days of placing an order. Occasionally select items may require additional time and for these products you will be notified in advance via email of any such delays. Different items on the same order could be shipped at a different time or even from a different warehouse. Please do not be concerned if one package arrives prior to receipt of the entire order. Email confirmations will be sent as packages are shipped and will include tracking numbers when available. Credit cards are process at time of shipment. You may track your order by clicking on the “My Account” link and logging into your account.
Our primary carriers are FedEx and UPS, although other carriers may be used based on package and shipping location. Therefore, our customers do not get to choose carrier of choice.
Oversized items ship via freight (Truck) and leave our warehouses within 1-10 business days. A carrier will contact you to arrange for delivery. Please be considerate to respond promptly to the freight carriers as to not incur storage charges for your products. If delivery appointment is missed, customer may be charged a redelivery fee that could range from $10-$150 and will be dependent on the freight carrier.
Refused delivery of or return of a non-defective, undamaged item customer is responsible for return shipping fees as well as restocking fees up to 25% of the item's price.
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Clark Street Home. If you have a missing part or small issue, please contact our customer service department at email@example.com to see if we can get a replacement part to you to your satisfaction before returning the item. With all orders, please carefully inspect your package for any damage or defects upon delivery. If you notice damage or defective parts you must note them on the shipping receipt and refuse the delivery. If you receive an item different than what was described, damaged or defective, you may return the item within 30 days of receiving the shipment. Please follow the instructions on the packing slip and return the item to the address indicated. In some cases, you may be asked to contact us for a Return Authorization Number. The information will be indicated on your packing slip. If you cannot find the information, please email our customer service firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, order number, and approximate date of the purchase and we will contact you with return instructions.
To be eligible for a refund, you must return your product in the same condition you received it, and the return must be postmarked within 30 days of shipment. All returned items will be inspected and awarded a partial refund if opened or used. If the return is a result of our error, we will refund the full cost of the merchandise and shipping charges. When arranging an item for its return, please be as descriptive as possible regarding the problem with the merchandise.
If returning an item for reasons other than defect, damaged or incorrect item received, shipping charges are not refundable..
In the event an item needs to be replaced, the original item must be received within 30 days from the initiated return date or your account will be charged full price for the replacement item.
Note: Returns that are not the result of our error will be subject to a return shipping fee which will be deducted from the refund. Returns sent with no RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization) or prior approval from our Customer Service department will be returned to sender
Products Returned After 30 days
For items returned after 30 days, Clark Street Home will grant a credit of up to 80% of the item’s value, less the original and return shipping charges.
Clark Street Home may issue full or partial refunds for an order. If a new item is returned opened, or an item is returned as unwanted (i.e., not defective), a reasonable restocking fee may be applied.
You can expect to receive your refund within four weeks of shipping your package back to us. In a lot of cases this will be sooner, but processing times may vary. We will notify you via email with the details of your refund, and issue your refund in the form of payment used to make your purchase.
Partial Refunds will be issued for the following items:
Most items that are returned more than 30 days after delivery
Any item that has obvious signs of use
Any item not returned in the condition it was received
If you received a faulty item and need to exchange it for the same item, please contact Clark Street Home via our order center by logging into your account online, or email email@example.com and include the following information: First name, last name, order number, and email address. This information must be identical to the information originally submitted on your order. Please provide contact information so that we may contact you.
Please note that it takes us 7 to 10 business days to process returns once they arrive at our Returns Center. You can view completed returns and refunds by visiting Your Account and accessing the relevant order summary.
Large Items Shipped By Specialty Carriers
We are happy to accept returns for large items that are shipped via our specialty shippers. However, these items require a special type of return which must be coordinated through our returns department. Please contact Returns@ClarkStreetHome.com.
Personalized or Customized Products
Items that are personalized or custom may not be returned or cancelled. We will gladly replace an item within 30 days if it is considered damaged or defective.
Order Cancellation Policy
Please submit any cancellation via your account online or email to orders@ClarkStreetHome.com.
Email cancellations must contain the following: First name, last name, order number, and email address. This information must be identical to the information originally submitted on your order. Please provide contact information so that we may contact you if we have questions in regards to canceling your order.
Every effort will be made to accommodate the cancellation of your order, providing your order has not been charged and/or shipped out. In the event that a cancellation was submitted (via email or phone), and your order was shipped out after, we will gladly refund the complete balance charged including shipping. However, if the cancellation was documented as received after the order was shipped, we will refund the merchandise total less shipping.
We at Clark Street Home understand your concerns about the security of online transactions. Therefore, our site is equipped with the most advanced Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology available to ensure the privacy of any information you submit through this site.
All products (unless specifically stated otherwise), carry an implied, industry-standard warranty against defects due to manufacturing or failure. Warranty does not include any use of the product that does not fall into the designed use of the product as intended by the manufacturer.
All products come with a warranty against manufacturer defect or failure. This warranty covers replacement or repair of the product, which is determined by availability and the time of purchase and may vary by manufacturer. Replacement is often used within 30 days after purchase with the same product or like product when direct replacement is unavailable. Repair is often necessary for items purchased more than 30 days prior. We can supply you with the manufacturer’s warranties on an item if you would like to see it before making your purchase. Please contact our customer service department.
Out of Stock Policy
The most important thing to keep in mind when ordering is that our stock balances fluctuate throughout the day with sales demand and stock that we receive from the manufacturers. Items are constantly being sold and our stock is constantly being replenished. If the item is identified as "Out of Stock", we can special order the item for you and ship it as soon as we get it. Most items ship within 2 weeks.
Some items are listed for sale on our web site that have not been released from the manufacturer yet. We place these items on the web site so that consumers may pre-order the items. Preorders are reserved with payment up front on a first come, first served basis. You may also request to be placed on a “notify list” and we will let you know when products are in-stock and available for delivery. Be advised that prepaid orders always get priority for delivery.
Many out-of-stock items are excellent products and are available for purchase, but we do not always stock these items in inventory. We will be happy to special order these items for you in a timely fashion. Again, most items ship within 2 weeks.
